Finishing & Fabrication

Where Precision, Craft, and Capability Come Together

Printing is only the beginning. How graphics are finished, cut, assembled, fabricated, and prepared for installation determines how they look, install, and perform over time.

At Pixelwerx, finishing and fabrication are handled in-house. Our team uses professional graphics finishing, cutting, lamination, sewing, mounting, and fabrication methods to protect, shape, assemble, and refine printed graphics with precision. This depth of capability helps ensure every piece is installation-ready and built for real-world use.

Finishing That Protects and Enhances

Finishing plays a critical role in both appearance and durability. Pixelwerx uses graphics finishing methods such as protective films, lamination, mounting, and surface treatments to enhance color, reduce wear, and prepare graphics for their intended environment.

Whether a project requires UV protection, scratch resistance, clean mounting, added structure, or a specific visual finish, finishing methods are selected based on performance — not default processes.

By keeping finishing in-house, we maintain consistent quality, reduce handoffs, and help ensure graphics are ready for installation and real-world use.

Precision Lamination & Mounting

Lamination and mounting require even pressure, accurate alignment, and careful handling — especially at large sizes. Pixelwerx uses professional graphics finishing systems to apply protective films, mount graphics to rigid substrates, and prepare printed pieces for cutting, fabrication, or installation.

This level of control helps reduce bubbles, rework, and surface defects while ensuring finished graphics are structurally sound, visually clean, and ready for real-world use.

Digital Cutting & CNC Fabrication

Many projects require more than straight cuts. Pixelwerx uses digital cutting and CNC fabrication systems to cut, route, crease, and shape materials with accuracy and repeatability.

These capabilities support everything from simple trims and contour-cut graphics to dimensional elements, routed signage, multi-layer assemblies, and installation-ready components. Because cutting and routing are handled in-house, we can maintain consistent results across one-off projects, branded environments, and multi-location programs.

Laser Cutting & Detailed Fabrication

For applications that require extreme precision or intricate detail, Pixelwerx uses in-house laser cutting and fabrication processes to create clean edges, fine details, and complex shapes across a range of materials.

This capability supports custom components, dimensional branding, signage elements, display details, and applications where traditional cutting methods fall short.

Having laser fabrication in-house expands what is possible while helping us maintain control over quality, timing, and production complexity.

In-House Sewing & Soft Finishing

Fabric graphics require specialized finishing to look clean, install correctly, and perform over time. Pixelwerx maintains in-house sewing capabilities for SEG systems, soft signage, fabric banners, backdrops, and other fabric-based graphics.

By controlling sizing, tension, edge finishing, stitching, and quality checks in-house, we help ensure fabric graphics install cleanly, maintain their appearance, and stay consistent across larger or repeat programs.

FABRICATION & ASSEMBLY

Finished graphics often need to work as part of a larger system. Pixelwerx fabricates and assembles components in-house, preparing graphics for frames, mounting systems, hardware, dimensional elements, and installation requirements.

By addressing these details during fabrication, we reduce installation challenges and help ensure everything fits, functions, and performs as intended. This allows us to support both standard applications and custom fabricated solutions with confidence.

WHY FINISHING & FABRICATION MATTER

Many providers rely on a limited set of finishing tools — or outsource fabrication altogether. Pixelwerx takes a different approach by keeping graphics finishing, cutting, sewing, mounting, and fabrication capabilities under one roof.

WORKING WITH PIXELWERX MEANS:

Greater flexibility across materials and applications | Higher precision and consistency
Faster turnaround times | Fewer handoffs and less risk

This depth of capability allows us to prepare graphics, signage, displays, and custom fabricated elements for real-world installation with confidence.

LET’S FINISH IT RIGHT

If your graphics, signage, displays, or custom fabricated elements need finishing, fabrication, or installation-ready preparation, Pixelwerx is ready to help — from production through final execution.
